ok ya, i know, i’m being snarky about the fake l33t in the title. it was probably a lame-ass graphic designer trick and not really the book’s title. but i’m just annoyed enough at this book to be juvenile.
i’m not going to go on about this book–it’s not worth it–suffice it to say that it gets old really really fast to see the female professionals all referred to by first name or body “type” while the guys get the full 7-word job title + surname. eyeroll. plus, the endgame for this book was so hollywood, you just know the writer had the script deal in mind. yawn.
it’s decently plotted, and the main character has an interesting moment or two. the blurb on the cover about this being literary is 100% delusional, however. so, yawn and eyeroll.
